EXAMPLE:

Tips for Leaders to Create

Successful Mentoring Programs:

Mentors Should –

Be responsible to mentee, not for them

Make the mentoring relationship fun and enjoyable

Recognize that their involvement with the mentee extends beyond the workday

Listen carefully to their mentee

Openly acknowledge their failures as well as their successes

Protect their mentee and expect their mentee to protect them

Give mentees not only directions but also options

Recognize and encourage their mentees small success and accomplishments

Encourage independent thinking among their mentees

ROI:

When a person is given a tip or suggestion about something, it should be simple to understand and easy to figure out how to implement for best results. Our program does just that. We have created clear and concise advice on each topic for the leader to simply read and turn around and utilize. When you check a task off, your brain releases dopamine! According to research, people who are investing their time, money or energy into a project (such as this Leadership Development Program) – they tend to value and listen to the expert –we are experts.

2) - A Little Extra

(A bit more interesting information on a subject in that module - This is for the inquisitive person that needs just a bit more)

EXAMPLE:

A Little Extra: The behavior modeling is grounded solidly on the Social Learning Theory of Bandura. Bandura believed that people learn through observation of others and by imitating them. Observation is powerful and influential!

ROI:

When people are interested in a subject, they will produce and perform more – this is how curiosity increases learning. Leaders that seek knowledge often have an actual emotional feeling when it comes to learning. They are more exhilarated and enchanted to soak up the knowledge – even to the point of processing the information more efficiently, using critical thinking, connecting their old information and the new knowledge is stronger when they are interested. The “A Little Extra” sections add to a subject and create a higher level of interest. According to research, curious people are psychologically healthier than people who have no interest in learning anything new.

3) -An Employee Engagement Campaign:

EXAMPLE:

-GET OUT OF YOUR COMFORT ZONE-

Understand the importance of engaging your employees!

ROI:

When workers connect with their leader, they produce more $$$. One study of 1500 participants showed that engaged workers outperformed disengaged employees up to 202%.

4) - A Global Leader

(Information for leaders with an international mindset of growth - Maybe your business is not a global competitor but it can grow nationally, county-to-county or have the goal of expanding your department - Be a BIG THINKER)

EXAMPLE:

The Global Leader: One of the most difficult and important tasks facing international leaders is negotiation. It involves different laws, regulations, standards, business practices, and of course cultural differences.

ROI:

Globalization is making an impact on commerce in several ways – true leaders must have a mindset of not only growth but proper, sustainable growth. Even if the leader is not dealing abroad in their industry, the global way of thinking can help in expanding a business to a neighboring town. Thinking big is a benefit for leaders and the organizations they represent.

5) - Coaching Sessions

(A private challenge for the leader to grow personally and professionally)

EXAMPLE:

COACHING SESSION: Pay attention to how many unnecessary words you write during one day. Try to communicate effectively using the least amount of words as you can. This may help you realize the excessive communications you are filling your subordinate’s days up with. This can stress them out!

ROI:

Coaching a leader increases their productivity by an average of 86% compared to 22% when the company only uses training alone. Executive coaching is the best tactic to increasing productivity – our courses utilize a type of virtual coaching with the program that allows the learner to challenge themselves and become more self-aware. When we focus on a specific subject, we include a task for the learner to apply. Every coaching session is directed only to the leader that is learning which allows them to personally grow. These sessions included in our program take the leader’s own motivations into account and pushes them to dive deeper into their own desires and limitations. We offer 1:1 Coaching for an additional fee to better increase your performance.

6) - Applying What you Know

(Group challenges at the end of each chapter to build your connections with your subordinates)

EXAMPLE:

Create a Worksheet for “Communicating about Organizational Strategy for the Development of Talent.” For this challenge you are focusing on the present and future communication features that you and other leaders utilize when evolving your talent. Here is a list of questions for you and your fellow leaders to answer concerning talent development. You want the organizational leaders to be cohesive in their talent enhancement and hiring… PLUS MORE…

ROI:

One of the top reasons Leadership Development programs fail is because they give you a lot of information but they don’t show you how to use it. In our courses, leaders will be given a scientifically-backed activity to implement with their subordinates/groups/colleagues on a specific chapter topic to better absorb a characteristic required as a leader. These activities can be altered to better fit each leader’s environment. The activities promote conversations between different levels of workers that normally would not happen. According to Harvard, people learn more when taking part in an activity rather than just reading information. Remember that DEEP, ACTIVE LEARNING is hard work.

7) - Quizzes

(Small quizzes to test your knowledge of each module)

EXAMPLE:

  • Your thoughts are not vital to organizational change – FALSE - Your cognitive change leads to organizational change

ROI:

The quizzes help the leader immediately know what they know and what they need more work on. We have developed quizzes to assist the leader in focus, detecting gaps of knowledge, foster their confidence levels and basically retain the information. None of our quizzes are created to leave the leader with a negative feeling. The level of stress for these quizzes should be low.

8) - Videos

(Fun, entertaining and informative videos to start each chapter - Every chapter has its unique video)

EXAMPLE:

ROI:

Video learning help curate knowledge better for all generations. Leaders – and employees – are 75% more likely to watch a video rather than read text. We have combined several types of learning techniques to ensure retention. If you are a visual learner, you understand and remember things by sight and you like to see what you are about to learn.

9) - Scientifically Based Applicable Information

(We do not waste your time! These bullet-points are packed with 100% science-backed data that you can use in the real world)

EXAMPLE:

  • A stable sales pattern allows you to run your organization efficiently by maintaining a consistent level of production and storage and utilizing all its functions so that is it ready when your sales increase.

ROI:

Instead of utilizing guesswork to develop leaders, we have performed extensive research and relied on the scientific method approach. We have done all of the work and now the leader and organization significantly benefits. There is no need for the leader to look on the internet to further develop themselves because we have gathered numerous scientific business journals/books to create an easily read program. Every single sentence is backed by science! You can become more effective in leading with less effort because we have done the work - now it is up to you to learn.

10) Insider Bonus Information

(This section allows you to see how a Business Consulting Firm deals with real-life issues. You can use these already tried and successfully implemented actions to correct any obstacles you are facing)

EXAMPLE:

INSIDER BONUS INFORMATION

CHALLENGE: We had a small business that was growing into a global business.

APPLIED CORRECTIVE INITIATIVES: We knew this organization owner for years and saw their growth first-hand. They were not our client until they started experiencing severe growth pains. The company started in the clients living room and grew into larger company. The business was trying to perform the same as it always had as a small business because it was comfortable for the owner and long-term employees. It is obvious that a global business needs to be more concerned with accommodating it's international clients all while still pleasing it's current customers. This was an issue for the owner and we fixed it by researching what the overseas clients really wanted. We created a department that only worked with global clients and perfected that part of the organization. The company eventually became a single organization that sufficiently dealt with both business worlds.

..CLICK to REVIEW CAPABILITIES

ROI:

This area gives the leader an insight into what an actual consulting firm may do to remedy a problem within an organization or individual. These responses could be quick fixes for the leader. This is a type of social learning that your brain is already wired for.

11) Someone asked for it...so you got it...

(Past leaders have suggested additional information into specific areas of the program and we listened)

DECISION-MAKING STYLES

Directive Decision-Making

A directive decision-maker typically reviews the positives and negatives of a scenario. They focus on what information they already have available and what is known to them. Directive decision-making leaders are extremely sensible and do not appreciate indistinctness and vagueness. They make decision by utilizing their own personal understanding, know-how, and reasoning. These types of people do not normally go to others for decision-making. The directive decision maker does not fool around – their decisions are made fast and have a tendency to be clear and concise. Normally, no need for extensive communication. The downside to this style is sometimes a lot of data is necessary to make the proper decision – a spontaneous decision isn’t always the right decision.

When a leader understands that there is a lot of steadiness in the workforce, the operations is made up of repetitive patterns and events are unswerving day-after-day – directive decision-makers are the perfect type of leader. Directive decision making should be used for times where the leader knows that the correct answer has a high degree of probability that the participants will agree – clear and concise/cause and effect.

The leader is quick to understand the situation and classify it by responding without delay. The repeated patterns should always be in the forefront when making a directive type decision. Significant to always review for the directive leader to ensure that they are the ones who should make the decision. The data should always support whoever makes the decisions. Direct language is necessary when decision-making and delegating. If the question should not be made hastily – do not make it quickly just to be done with the task – find the people/information that you need first.

Contentment is common when the business is performing without hitches. Complacency is not good – leaders must pay attention to every circumstance they come across because change is constant. When faced with complex jobs – the leader may expect to make it simple by utilizing a directive decision-making approach and this will most likely be the wrong decision. When the leader is in a changing time, they will need to alter their decision-making.
